WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF?
By Edward Albee

About the show: George, a professor at a small college, and his wife, Martha, have just returned home, drunk from a Saturday night party. Martha announces, amidst general profanity, that she has invited a young couple—an opportunistic new professor at the college and his shatteringly naïve new bride—to stop by for a nightcap. When they arrive the charade begins. The drinks flow and suddenly inhibitions melt. It becomes clear that Martha is determined to seduce the young professor, and George couldn't care less. But underneath the edgy banter, which is cross-fired between both couples, lurks an undercurrent of tragedy and despair. George and Martha's inhuman bitterness toward one another is provoked by the enormous personal sadness that they have pledged to keep to themselves: a secret that has seemingly been the foundation for their relationship. In the end, the mystery in which the distressed George and Martha have taken refuge is exposed, once and for all revealing the degrading mess they have made of their lives.

SHERLOCK HOLMES AND THE CASE OF THE CHRISTMAS GOOSE
Adapted by Michael Menendian and John Weagly

About the show: In this family-friendly holiday mystery, Sherlock Holmes is asked to discover the identity of a man who lost his hat and goose in a late-night scuffle. At first, Holmes treats the request as only a mild curiosity, but then the countess of Morcar’s rare and valuable blue carbuncle is found stuffed down the goose’s throat. The pursuit of the thief leads Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson from 221B Baker Street to Covent Garden Market and all over the streets of wintery London.

THE BEAUTY OF PSYCHE
Written and Directed by JJ Gatesman

About the Show: The myth of Cupid and Psyche has existed in our collective conscious for hundreds of years. It is the original source material for the oft loved Beauty and the Beast. The script and production of The Beauty of Psyche seeks to retell the story, in a way that makes Psyche a worthy protagonist for the 21st century. This small ensemble show, through the use of puppetry and theatrical techniques, will spin a magical love story that tracks a woman as she becomes a god.

TABLE FOR THREE
An evening of three One Acts by Bill Jackson

COFFEE WITH DOUG
Directed by Bill Jackson

About the show: Doug stops in a quiet, comfy little coffee house to have a big, stiff brew spiked with a shot, and proofread some poetry. A compulsive, nervous kinda guy named Buddy enters and after staring for a while, believes he has found Jim Morrison. Doug denies it; Buddy insists. Eventually, Buddy is so sure, despite the fact that Morrison died in Paris in 1971, that he goes off the rails as he did when he was a young Doors fanatic. In sympathy, confession, or just wanting the guy off off his back, Doug tells him why Morrison died.

NUT RING
Director TBA

About the show: Lyla and her daughters, Katlin and Emma who get along like a mongoose and a cobra, are having tea when Lyla's sister, Laura, arrives with a cherry walnut coffee cake ring for Lyla's husband who is ill. The conversation turns to men and sex. They discuss it as they proceed to devour the cake.

IMMORTAL
Director TBA

About the show: Ash is making Italian at home when his fiancé comes in from work and accuses him of keeping a critical secret: He is immortal. At first, Ash thinks she's having him on. As they progress, it appears that Cassie is serious. He extracts the origin of this accusation from her but he still doesn't believe she could possibly be serious. In genuine distress, she cries. He'll do or say anything to make her stop. So he tells her about the curse of immortality. If it's true.

THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK
by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett, newly adapted by Wendy Kesselman

About the show: In this transcendently powerful adaptation by Wendy Kesselman, Anne Frank emerges from history a living, lyrical, intensely gifted young girl, who confronts her rapidly changing life and the increasing horror of her time with astonishing honesty, wit, and determination. An impassioned drama about the lives of eight people hiding from the Nazis in a concealed storage attic, THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK captures the claustrophobic realities of their daily existence—their fear, their hope, their laughter, their grief. Each day of these two dark years, Anne's voice shines through: "When I write I shake off all my cares. But I want to achieve more than that. I want to be useful and bring enjoyment to all people, even those I've never met. I want to go on living even after my death!" This is a new adaptation for a new generation.
