Detailing what is arguably the most infamous assassination in history, Julius Caesar is a tale of conspiracy, murder, betrayal, civic duty, and morality, and the power of words to shift the balance of power. The conspirators assassinate Caesar to prevent his dictatorial rise to power, but then must contend with swaying public opinion to their favor. In the subsequent power vacuum, who amongst them are fit to lead? Who are the real heroes and villains of the story? Julius Caesar is best known for its eloquent oratory, including the famous “Friends, romans, countrymen, lend me your ears” speech.
