The story is based on the novel Legally Blonde by Amanda Brown and the 2001 film of the same name. It tells the story of Elle Woods, a sorority girl who enrolls at Harvard Law School to win back her ex-boyfriend Warner. She discovers how her knowledge of the law can help others, and successfully defends exercise queen Brooke Wyndham in a murder trial. Throughout the show, no one has faith in Elle Woods, but she manages to surprise them when she defies expectations while staying true to herself.
Audition Requirements/Info-
Please Prepare 32 bars of an up-tempo musical theatre song within the style of the show. Please bring sheet music marked accordingly for the accompanist. CD's & Bluetooth capable devices are also allowed (instrumental Only) No Acapella singing.
There will be a dance combination taught so please dress comfortably and bring appropriate shoes.
There will be cold readings from the script
Please familiarize yourself with the characters and songs as there will be some singing of songs from the show at auditions for certain characters.
