The line between faking insanity and "being" insane proves to be far too fine for Randle P. McMurphy in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest". Before it was adapted into an Oscar-winning movie, Ken Kesey's novel was made into a Tony-winning stage play. McMurphy thinks he's pulled a fast one by feigning insanity to get out of a prison sentence. But instead of resting up at the state mental hospital, he finds himself going toe-to-toe with the controlling Nurse Ratched.
