This beloved tale, in which a Kansas Farm Girl travels over the rainbow to discover the magical power of home, has been entertaining audiences for generations. A faithful adaptation of the original film starring Judy Garland, this journey down the yellow brick road features treasured songs, "Munchkinland (Ding Dong! The Witch Is Dead)," "If I Only Had A Brain/A Heart/The Nerve," "We're Off To See The Wizard (Follow The Yellow Brick Road)," "The Jitterbug," "The Merry Old Land of Oz," and the most popular song of all, "Over The Rainbow."
Come prepared to sing with a piano. An accompanist will be provided. Please bring your own sheet music if you are not singing from the show. No A Cappella or taped music. You may be asked to dance, so please bring appropriate shoes. You may also be asked to do a cold reading from the script. Please plan on attending the scheduled audition time.
