Title Part-Time Video Operator
Description
Astor Show Productions is looking for a Part Time Video Operator. Candidates should have a strong working knowledge of analogue and digital video equipment and be able to identify and repair problems related to the running of the show. Experience with live video switching, shooting, and various camera work is preferred. Applicants should have a fairly flexible schedule and be willing to communicate with the Video Supervisor about weekly and monthly scheduling of the shows.
Responsibilities include performing preset duties, executing show cues as well as turnover & post show duties in a safe, professional and timely manner. This position must maintain clear communication with Stage Manager and Supervisor regarding the status of the video system.
The Part Time Video Operator is required to run a minimum of 1 show every other week (more availability is preferred). Availability for some daytime work is a plus. Part Timers must be willing to do more shows during the holiday season (Thanksgiving thru New Year's.)
