11Series Productions is an east coast based team of actors, writers, and film makers looking to make festival worthy films. We are looking for an independent AD, DP, sound tech, and crew, for help on various low budget short films currently in pre-production. All productions are low budget meaning no pay, but the experience that we will all glean from the process will be invaluable. By joining our team you will be given the chance to grow, learn, and best of all, do something you love.
DP (Director of Photography):
?Must have the ability to capture the mood and moment of the scene as requested by the director.
?Able to work with grips and communicate needs effectively to set up lighting and shots in a reasonable time frame.
?Good organizational skills, able to coordinate on both lighting and sound.
?Attention to detail.
?Owning their own equipment is nice, but not a requirement. (If you don?t own your own equipment, have at least a working knowledge of Canon XL2, and a reel to show your work.)
AD (Assistant Director):
?Able to take orders, and carry them out to completion with an extreme attention to detail and continuity.
?Able to take a leadership role, and speak up when something is wrong. (Script supervision)
?Must work closely with extras, and be able to coordinate call times, and replacements when actors call out. (Pre Production)
?Delicacy and decorum when dealing with principal actors.
Sound Tech:
?Ability to mix and coordinate sound.
?Able to communicate with boom operator their specific needs on a scene to scene basis.
?Own their own dat or recording equipment/mixer. (Boom mic and boom pole is provided by 11series)
Grips:
?Very good working knowledge of lighting, and color theory. Experience lighting sets is not required but a huge plus.
?Very good knowledge of wattage, and power requirements.
?Able to rig lights.
?Knowledge of three point lighting.
?Able to communicate with DP, and take orders and carry them out to scene specifications.
